The VE:Forum (link: https://vedf.weebly.com/ ) is proud to launch what it hopes will become an annual survey of Operational and Visitor Experience practices in museums, galleries and visitor attractions across the UK. The aim of the research is to provide insights to inform the strategic decision-making process within organisations as well as to provide some striking headlines about the sector to a wider audience.
Anyone working in a senior Visitor Experience role in museums, galleries or visitor attractions can complete this survey which covers a broad range of areas including resource management, ticketing, CRM, income and expenditure. This survey is the first of its kind in the UK to provide an in-depth look at visitor experience and operations. The results of the survey will provide a valuable resource for Visitor Experience professionals across the UK. The Visitor Experience Forum (link: https://vedf.weebly.com/ ) was founded to represent the Visitor Experience sector and to facilitate networking between those involved in the creation of visitor. The Forum has grown and grown and we now have over 300 members representing over 250 organisations. Our members are museums, galleries and visitor attractions from across the UK ranging from the small and local to large and national. We run Meetup events throughout the year, HACKs events, an annual awards scheme and each summer hold a seminar day. We remain volunteer-run and all of our events are free to attend. BOP Consulting (link: http://bop.co.uk/ ) is an international consultancy company working with organisations and bodies across the arts, culture and creative industries. BOP provide research and consultancy services to the VE:Forum on a pro-bono basis. You can participate to our survey until 25th March 2019. Click here to take part.
