We are a group of enthusiastic professionals committed to enhancing the industry's visitor experience. We were established in 2016, and since then, we have rapidly expanded to incorporate over 900 members from 250 organisations as well as 110 associate members. The London Transport Museum, Science Museum, John Lewis and Partners, Design Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, ArcelorMittal Orbit, Tate Modern, Barbican, and numerous National Trust properties are just a few of the venues where we've hosted 37 events.

Carlton is a highly experienced professional with over 20 years of work in the tourism and travel industry. He has a strong background in management, training program facilitation, and employee engagement, which has given him a deep understanding of the needs of people in this constantly changing field.
Currently, Carlton works as a Project Manager with Barker Langham. He has previously held leadership positions such as for Expo 2020, Head of Guest Experience at Kuwait's Al Salam Palace Museum, Guest Experience Manager at Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre (where he oversaw the opening of the world's largest collection of museums), Visitor Experience & Operations Manager at the ArcelorMittal Orbit (where he opened The Slide), and worked as a consultant for Merlin Entertainments. He is also a Visiting Lecturer at Westminster University in London and a Guest Lecturer at Lincoln University. Carlton's areas of expertise include opening new attractions, developing staff engagement strategies, implementing customer experience methodologies, managing operations and events, and creating visitor engagement strategies. He is skilled in planning and creating bespoke training programs. Carlton holds a Master's degree in International Tourism Management from the University of Lincoln and a Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Marketing from the University of the Arts in London. |
